Dr. Leng Lu Soh is the founder of Soh Dental Surgery (SOH DENTAL), initially based in Luton, England 1980 in a shared premises, later moving to its own building at 461, Kenton Road, Kenton, Middlesex, UK.
He migrated to Melbourne in 1983 and Soh Dental Surgery was moved to 1033, Whitehorse Road, Box Hill. In 1992 the current premises was purpose-built and Soh Dental Surgery was eventually located at 2, Kangerong Road, Box Hill.
Dr. Soh has been in private practice for 35 years and has contributed enormously to the community. He is now semi-retired, consulting occasionally and spends time mentoring a younger generation of dentists, including his two sons and his associates.
In his younger days, besides all aspects of dentistry, his favorite hobbies were badminton and golf. He liked these so much to the extend that he donated The Monash Badminton Perpetual Trophies, one for Ladies Single and one for Ladies Double.
He has also donated The Foo Chow Association Golf Challenge Trophy. Unfortunately since the demise of their Sports Secretary Mr. Thomas Ling, the competition has been temporarily suspended.
Dr. Soh has been a Christian for many years and is friendly, amicable and interested to share the Gospel with whoever crosses his path.
Dr. Samual Soh is the 4th son of Dr. Leng Lu Soh. He completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at The University of Adelaide in 2014. Since then he has been employed as a dentist at SOH DENTAL as well as in country practise in South Australia. Sam (as he prefers to be called) enjoys all aspects of dentistry but is particularly fond of aesthetic and orthodontic dentisty.
Outside of work Sam can be found grooving his golf swing, riding his bicycle, running long distance or sweating it out in the gym! He is also an avid fan of coffee - his favourite is a 3/4 flat white and no sugar, of course!
