Our Story

A Family Practice Since 1982

Soh Dental was founded in 1982 by Dr Leng Lu Soh and Rosy Soh, who together opened the doors on Kangerong Road with a clear purpose: to provide accessible, high-quality care and improve the oral health of the Box Hill community.

Today, the practice is led by their son, Dr Joshua Soh, who graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Adelaide in 2016. What began as one family's commitment to honest dentistry has been passed down through generations. It is a true family practice built on trust.

While technology and best practices have evolved over the decades, the values that Dr Leng Lu Soh and Rosy established remain at the heart of everything we do. We combine modern techniques with the personal, unhurried care that our patients have come to rely on.

Serving Box Hill's diverse community means understanding and respecting different backgrounds and needs. Our team speaks English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Hokkien, ensuring every patient feels comfortable and understood from the moment they walk through our door.

Meet the Dentist

Dr Joshua Soh, BDS, Principal Dentist

Dr Joshua Soh is driven by a genuine care for the oral health of the Box Hill community. With 10 years of clinical experience, he continues the tradition of improving oral health and overall wellbeing that the Soh family has maintained for over 40 years.

Graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Adelaide in 2016, Dr Joshua brings a passion for modern dentistry combined with the family values his father instilled. His special interests include Orthodontic Aligners, Implantology, Prosthodontic Rehabilitation, and Cosmetic Veneers.

Patients frequently compliment Dr Joshua for his caring nature, clear communication, and the time he takes with every appointment. He is passionate about giving people confident smiles and empowering them with knowledge about their oral health.

Outside the clinic, Dr Joshua is involved in overseas volunteering and youth ministry, and enjoys golf and staying active with health and fitness.
